Rocky's new 2003 Vintage Cameroon....this dark oily Cameroon wrapper has a natural sweetness with traditional Rocky body you would expect.

CAO has their first new release in 18 months....OSA.  The OSA blend has a San Augustin wrapper with a NIC/HON filler and binder blended by Rick Rodriguez.  Our OSA release party is November 4th here in Charlotte Just released: Nestor Miranda's 2011 Gran Reserva which is limited to 1500 boxes nationwide. It is a dark oily torpedo with a complex full-bodied flavor....very nice. A new cigar for Tinder Box is Nick Perdomo's Champagne. It has rich nuances from the filler and binder, but a light Connecticut wrapper put this mild to medium. The reception in the humidor has been strong.

Finally the Oliva family has loaded us down with a new shipment of the famed Oliva V series of cigars....and yes the # 4 is back. At $6.50, this corona packs a ton of body, complexity, and flavor. Also new on the shelf this week: NUB tubes arrived and the design is very cool.............also, Kristania is here. It is a solid price point cigar that adds tremendous value....both shapes are under $6.00.

What a month!  Cigar releases have dropped daily with more coming each week.  If you haven't been in one of the stores lately, you will be surprised with the myriad of new cigars.  From the rich and complex Fausto by Tatuaje to the phenomenal Casa Miranda made in Little Havana, Miami......there is something to please every palate.

On July 28, we received a couple of boxes of the original Liga No 9 Toro from the 2007 crop....it is spectacular and has additional aging.  Stop by and see this "humidor selection".....very nice.

We just received a full shipment of Padron cigars across all blends. Featuring 1964, 1926, Family Reserve and Padron Classic. The wrappers are spectacular. The June 4, 2011 Cigar Dave radio show  was a huge hit with an estimated 500 in attendance.  Tinder Box has additional 2011 Cigar Dave Assault Packs in all Charlotte stores for Father's Day. This year's selection includes multiple cigars from Nicaragua and all are rich and complex. At $24.95, the deal is to good to pass up...buy one for yourself and one for dear old Dad!   We just received the "limited edition" La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor cigar made exclusively for TAA member stores. This Robusto Limitada (5 X 52) released yesterday in black lacquer boxes of 10 cigars and sells for $7.30 per cigar with boxes selling for $65.70. New arrivals from Tatuaje featuring Havana VI and most TAT Brown frontmarks including Cojonu 2006 and 2009. Just received a new shipment of Cain Daytona. The limited edition samplers hit next week in time for the June 8th event the Daytona Corvette and a cigar rolling exhibition.



Davidoff expands the “Puro d’Oro” Series introduced in 2010 with a new large Toro shape, the Eminentes. The dominant and sublime combination of Dominican tobaccos delivers a strong, aromatic and delicious blend with hints of coffee and spices. This is a big full-bodied Davidoff....delivery is slated for May 15.  New DIGGER Inventory: The new La Flor Dominicano Double Ligero Digger with a maduro wrapper has arrived again....new inventory at Arboretum and Southpark. This 8.5" cigar has a 60 ring gauge and the big full flavor you would expect from Litto Gomez. The size guarantees it will last a solid 9 holes plus on the golf course....limited supplies.
