Hi Craig, I got around to the La Flor de Ynclan Oct. 11 with a couple of German beers (Spaten) being October and all. I knew I was in for a treat (not a trick) when my order came in as I examined the Ynclan and noticed that it already had a small touch of plume forming, and it felt perfectly kept. It began with a light and mild, perhaps powdery flavor, but built to a combination of a nutty (I'd say almondy) and slight woody flavor. The aroma was about the same. My mother-in-law who was visiting commented on how good the cigar smelled. For a mild bodied cigar (as you guessed in the Tinderbox I like medium to full) it was very enjoyable.
Craig, unfortunately I have to go out of town unexpectedly, so I will not be able to attend. I will still be attending the event in Dec. and I look foreword to it. Again I am sorry for the untimely information.
