I decided to give this cigar a try and see if it lived up to the Davidoff name. I was very impressed with this cigar, it was more full bodied than every Davidoff that I have smoked. The size I smoked was the Chequers which is a corona extra size wit…

I smoked an Illusione 888 tonight and honestly forgot how good this cigar was. It was one of those cigars that was hyped up when it was released in 2007 and I wanted to smoke it again and see if it really was as good as the hype. Well, it is, it is…

I agree that the occasion makes the cigar. With that in mind, I'd elect the Davidoff Puro 2009 I smoked with my old man for his 60th birthday. Also, any Anejo is relevant to this discussion.

My favorite would have to be my first VSG I bought from the old Carolina Place Mall Tinder box back in 01. It was the Corona Gorda size. It was such a great cigar, that I have been hooked on VSG's ever since then!

For me, it was the La Flor Dominicana Mysterio #1. Most interesting and flavorful smoke I have ever had. Wife and friends said I was smiling from ear to ear while enjoying it.

I think the occasion on which a cigar is smoked and the company with you directly impacts the enjoyment of a fine cigar. Having said that the Padron 45th was the best cigar I've ever smoked. My runner up would be the Cain Maduro

I was thinking today about all the amazing cigars that have come out this past year, and I think the Padron 45th may have been one of the best cigars I have ever smoked, I am curious to see what you guys think. What is the best cigar you guys have e…

My List: 1. Padron 45th - This stays at number one for me, I have only smoked one, but it was an amazing smoke and deserves this year's Cigar of the Year. 2. Cohiba Siglo Tubo (Cuban) - I have also smoked one of these, and I agree with Chris, an ov…

I decided to pull out a Romeo Y Julieta from the humidor that I had purchased here about 8 or so months ago and decided to light it up. It had been a while since I had smoked one, and all the talk about the Reserve Real being the number one selling…

I definitely have to agree with you Craig, as good as the cigar is out of the box, with time it would be a top notch cigar.

Good pull Brandon. When Benji was in Charlotte a few years ago, Club Puros had a food, drink and cigar event on the patio at John Helms' house. Benji spoke about his years in Cuba and the memories of being lead out of his father's Montecristo cigar…

So tonight I lit up this new Partagas Benji Master series, unfortunately it is a limited addition cigar, with only 5000 boxes made. However, this cigar is by far the best Partagas that I have had in a very long time. It is hard to find a peppery, ce…

Winston Churchill by Davidoff

I decided to give this cigar a try and see if it lived up to the Davidoff name. I was very impressed with this cigar, it was more full bodied than every Davidoff that I have smoked. The size I smoked was the Chequers which is a corona extra size with a 46 ring size and 5.5 inch length. The ring size was perfect and allowed the equadorian wrapper to shine through with the full flavor that this cigar offers. It had a slight spice with the typical Davidoff sweetness to round it off with the Dominic… Continue

IIllusione 888!!!

I smoked an Illusione 888 tonight and honestly forgot how good this cigar was. It was one of those cigars that was hyped up when it was released in 2007 and I wanted to smoke it again and see if it really was as good as the hype. Well, it is, it is a fabulous smoke medium to full bodied all Nicaraguan and has a lot of peppery notes to it. The ring gauge is perfect at 48 and it allows just enough wrapper to add a lot of flavor but yet enough filler to mellow it out. They double bind these cigars… Continue

The Old Faithful!

I decided to pull out a Romeo Y Julieta from the humidor that I had purchased here about 8 or so months ago and decided to light it up. It had been a while since I had smoked one, and all the talk about the Reserve Real being the number one selling cigar in the world I decided to see what it was like with some age on it. This is a very light cigar, to change things up a little from my normal medium to full bodied cigars. It was a very mild, yet creamy cigar with slight hints of coffee and a nutt… Continue

Partagas Benji Master Series!!!!

So tonight I lit up this new Partagas Benji Master series, unfortunately it is a limited addition cigar, with only 5000 boxes made. However, this cigar is by far the best Partagas that I have had in a very long time. It is hard to find a peppery, cedary, also nutty, Dominican cigar. This cigar is closer to full bodied, but very tasty to the palate. I highly suggest everyone trying this cigar before they are all gone! I can confidentally say this being my third one that I have smoked, that Benji… Continue
