I agree that the occasion makes the cigar. With that in mind, I'd elect the Davidoff Puro 2009 I smoked with my old man for his 60th birthday. Also, any Anejo is relevant to this discussion.

1926 Padron No. 6 Maduro

Pre-Burn: Dark, oily wrapper with few veins. Slight box press.First Third: Starts off with a kick of spice then mellows. This cigar has an easy draw.Middle Third: Some initial spice is lost in the middle but the flavor does not desist. Instead of spice, one can also taste bits of creaminess.Final Third: Spice returns yet not overbearing. This cigar can be smoked down to the finger tips.Overall, phenomenal cigar with a great flavor complexity. One of my personal favorites and certainly deserving…See More

Padron 1964 Maduro Exclusivo

Pre Burn: Not one of the darkest Padron Maduros I've had but certainly oily with a sllight aroma of cocoa and coffee.

First third: Some earthy and cedary notes are present.

Second third: Cocoa notes dominate this cigar in the middle. Exceptionally smooth with an effortles draw makes this experience enjoyable.

Final third: Subtle hints of coffee are now paired with the strong cocoa notes to create one of the best tastes in a cigar - Cubans…
