Don Gonzalez Sampling with Rolling Exhibition

Pedro Gonzalez' family began growing tobacco in Cuba 70 years ago. His grandmother still lives in Cuba and owns 50 acres of prime tobacco growing real estate. Pedro has always had a passion for cigars but he didn't start his company, Don Gonzalez, until 4 years ago in Miami. We feel the result is spectacular. Pedro will bring to Charlotte his master roller, Alejandro, who rolled in the famed Cuban Partagas factory in Havana for 7 years. Alejandro is a showman that creates works of art in his skilled hands.....a must see experience! The tasting menu will be one shape (Toro at 6" X 54) with three different wrappers/blends to take the attendees through a full range of flavor. Our first Toro has an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper (mild), the second course has an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper (medium), and our final Toro of the evening has a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper with significant Ligero tobaccos (full/complex). The progression will go from Mild to Medium to Full across the three cigars. Pedro will discuss the different tobaccos and lead the room through a tasting of the three vitolas. Cost per person is $10.00 for the three cigars. Retail value is $21.00.
